Pixels vs kilobytes
A 4000×3000 photo can still be 200 KB if it is a simple PNG, or 12 MB if it is an uncompressed camera JPEG. Check both numbers before you resize or compress.

Can it show DPI?
If the file stores resolution tags, the metadata viewer lists them. Many phone JPEGs omit print DPI.
