Why JPEG inside the PDF
A PDF can embed JPEG without a second lossy pass beyond the quality you pick. PNG logos flatten to JPEG, so keep a PNG copy if you need sharp text.

Frequently asked questions
Is it one PDF with many pages?
Each image becomes its own PDF. Process a batch and download a ZIP. A multi-page merge is not in this engine yet.
Are vector drawings preserved?
No. Photos are embedded as JPEG. SVG is rasterized first.
