What this tool accepts

  • Phone photo friendly
  • HEIC decode in supported browsers
  • Batch ZIP
  • Private

Formats: JPG, HEIC, PNG, WebP

Phone cameras write 8–15 MB JPEGs (or HEIC) by default. A photo compressor exists so those files can travel through school portals, marketplaces, and Gmail without bouncing.

HEIC on a compressor page

iPhones often share .heic. This compressor decodes HEIC in the browser when the engine supports it, then writes a smaller JPEG. If decode fails, export JPG from Photos first.

Batch family albums

Drop up to 20 photos, compress, and grab a ZIP. That is faster than one-by-one WhatsApp forwarding when you are sending a whole event.

Frequently asked questions

Will a photo compressor strip location data?

Re-encoding on canvas drops EXIF. If you only wanted smaller files and still need GPS, keep a copy of the original.
